"I used to be an engineer and discovered rental properties in 2009. I bought 11 of those supposedly "turnkey" rentals on the mainland in 2015 but then discovered syndications and private placements for Accredited Investors.
Join our community, where you will be emerged with other financially fanatic friends on the same upward trajectory as you. This is where you find your tribe to start your upward journey on The Wealth Elevator."

Go beyond typical local REIA clubs, Meetups, BiggerPockets, and the usual gatherings of GP/operator aspirants dominated by non-accredited investors. I’ve been there, spending money and precious vacation days on overhyped real estate conferences that offer little more than fleeting excitement.
Instead, join our community where affluent professionals are investing in alternative investments. Since 2016, $2.1B of deals, over $200 million dollars of capital raised, and we’ve nurtured a safe, curated culture where like-minded individuals are united in their journey towards financial freedom.
You folks are not non-accredited wholesaling house flipper types. All participants have work in structure. Deadlines. Metrics. 12-hour days. This retreat was designed as a rare opportunity to unplug with purpose (in a really intense 2.5 day period). Previous attendees have included corporate execs, tech leads, medical professionals, engineers, and other small business owners who rarely take time off — to network with other high-level peers, gain fresh perspective, and return sharper, clearer, and more in control of your wealth strategy.
Mingle with the rest of the Hui coming from dozens of states across the nation! Network with other high-net worth passive investors, discuss advanced alternative investment and tax mitigation strategies; get expert insights and ask questions, with Lane Kawaoka of The Wealth Elevator.

We recommend staying in Waikiki, which is easily walkable from one side to the other or via a quick Uber. Many of you are smart travelers and like to use credit card hotel points to stay free wherever you like in the vicinity. There will be some downtime over the weekend so being in the Waikiki will make it easier to connect with other attendees throughout the event.
All events will be held in Waikiki or transport provided.
Other than our event Friday-Sunday a car rental is recommended for your own sightseeing and exploration which can be rented in Waikiki. Parking is expensive so it would be better not to waste having a car during the event weekend. Please Uber/Lyft if drinking!
In order to do some “business” we have a planned masterminding/networking evening session on Friday.
It is recommended to take no earlier than a late flight out on Sunday. However, you are invited to enjoy your vacation before heading back into the grind! This is also a great tip for those people who have never been to an event like this. There’s going to be a lot of new ideas and changed mindsets, so a day in paradise to let it sink in might be needed. Or maybe you met a NEW life-long friend that you wanna do a round of golf with or cruise around the island.
The total headcount will be limited to allow for more face to face time with Lane and other high quality participants.
Our goal is to have no more than 30-40 participants so everyone has the opportunity to go deep with everyone with at least a 15-20 min interaction.
We recommend bringing your spouse and family to the group activities on Friday – Sunday… But they will need to be paying participants.
There is no better atmosphere to meeting other families in our eco-system. Involving your spouse in these decisions with the right peer group might help you with “reluctant spouse syndrome.” We find having both spouses mingle with others as a great way to interact with as many people throughout the weekend.
Dress will be casual. You are on vacation, so if you want to wear flip flops and board shorts and start drinking at 3PM then you be you!
We are here to learn and build relationships with others in the Hui. The most similar prior events were Hui3, Hui4, and Hui5 (see the videos and photos on this page). What better way to meet other investors in their most authentic light?
Again, it is highly suggested to stay at the same hotel as the group, in order to be in proximity to other participants throughout the weekend. Honolulu is beautiful at night, every night, so you can wander (please stay safe!) with others for some team building and adventures with your new friends, with plenty of food options when we are not in session.
Not a nightlife person? The host hotel is walking distance from dozens of food options for a great breakfast spot to have small group hangouts.
Many attendees are not bringing their families, including their kids. This is understandable as it allows them to fully focus on the event without distractions.
Typically, about one-third of attendees bring their families, while another third may bring their spouse who actively participates in the events (we like this as it creates a better family atmosphere than a serious conference). The remaining third usually attends the event alone – and has the best weekend of their life with new financial fanatic friends.
In addition to everyone signing confidentiality agreements… We believe that the strongest connections are formed when we let our guard down and embrace vulnerability. Too often, society teaches us to wear a mask—especially in professional settings—where stoicism and having it all together are rewarded. But this approach can leave us feeling isolated, disconnected, and limited to surface-level relationships. Vulnerability, on the other hand, fosters understanding and empathy, creating the foundation for deep and meaningful connections.
Our retreat is designed to help you step outside your comfort zone and explore the transformative power of openness. By sharing your authentic story, you not only allow others to see the real you but also invite them to do the same. Whether it’s discussing personal growth, professional struggles, or life transitions, these honest conversations lead to bonds that extend far beyond the retreat itself. Many attendees leave with not only new insights but also lasting friendships and professional collaborations.
Come with an open mind, and leave with connections that will redefine your journey!
