Straight Talker
Lane is a very unique individual in that he is more interested in telling the truth about his journey and experiences than polishing his podcasts so that they are perfect. He tells it how he sees it and how it sees it right now. He makes no apologies for continuing to learn. Honesty over Pretense. Education over Sales Pitch
An example: Telling investors that the passive losses from syndications do not always result in immediate tax benefits if they don’t have enough passive income to offset them because the tax losses are suspended. Many others gloss over this. Talking about matching one’s own tax bracket and income goals to the investment offered rather than investing without regard to one’s entire portfolio is another example. Finally, talking about the mistakes that he and others have made in the past as new investors in order to help others avoid the same mistakes is genuinely helpful.

Very informative and very credible
Lane offers a unique perspective and very compelling arguments for passive, as opposed to active, real estate investing. You do not feel like you are being sold something but rather that you are being educated by someone who is an expert in his field.

Honest and Direct
I would highly recommend Lane’s podcast and YT channel for those that are trying to learn about the world of alternative investments and strategies of the wealthy. He picks up where many boiler plate “financial advisors” (like Dave Ramsey) leave off, speaking to actual investment strategies that the wealthy deploy vs simply investing in diversified mutual funds/401k’s/stocks/bonds and getting rid of debt. Listening to Lane’s podcast/material has really divulged how the wealthy move and equipped me to speak in a more educated fashion with others in my circle that have been successful.

Highly Recommended!
I highly recommend Lane’s podcast. He offers honest educational information to take your investing and finances to the next level. This is not your “Dave Ramsey” style of handling your finances. This is for those savvy people who are interested in truly digging deeper than that.

Great information - entertaining content
I’ve started listening from the beginning. Lane breaks down the concepts of rental property investing into manageable, easy-to-digest pieces. A lot of great information here, and the interviews are valuable, informative, and interesting. Great podcast, Lane! Keep it up.
